Just make some tape bushings and have them fit the seat snugly. They'll hold good enough to allow you to do your testing. For Solana, if you use the white dots you'll be building on the blank's straightest axis. Also find the spine and use the FAQs page here to test the 3 basic locations and see which one you like the best. What I like may not be what you'll like. Re: Fly rods ... Sage XP Series.

Solana, Why don't you contact Sage? I am sure they will give you a "straight" answer. No pun intended. contact Sage ... Sage XP Series...done

Well, someone allready did the past week or so and posted here that they answered the white dots were just to point the straightest visual line on the blank, and that they did wrap the guides along this line. Also said, it did no hurt to spine the rod, but was not necesary. Thanks! Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
