I GOT A RAINFOREST 2 FLYROD FR2F908-4 GOING TO BUILD IT INTO A SPINNING ROD WITH THE CONCEPT SYSTEM IN MIND ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS.... THIS ROD WILL BE USED ON WINDY CONDITIONS Sante Morrone the fisherman Re: RAINFOREST II SERIES

I have several similar set ups for ultra-light lures. Just take care with minimising guide sizes and frame weight in the tip section otherwise you risk killing the action there, used as a spinning rod. Re: RAINFOREST II SERIES

If you use the Concept system, you would naturally use very small, low frame and very lightweight guides.

I built two spinning rod with micros in the tip and the both work great. Cast well and don't have any issues with line twist. Patrick Rutledge Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
