Sante,
I have built on 2 Affinity-One blanks - a #9 (FO909-4) and a #10 (custom rolled) 4pc, 9' fly rod. I am not familar with the model # in your thread. I love both of mine. Herb Re: CTS Affinity one

Sante,
I always buy the CTS blanks in their P2000 finish. Which is no finish at all. I apply a coat of carnuba wax to the blank after I build rod. Paint weighs more than you think and I want the rod to be as light, in the tip, as possible. I fly fish for snook, red fish, jack cravale and tarpon in FL. On Cape Cod I use the rods for striped bass. I also use CTS blanks in their Maxim, Affinity- MX, Affinity-X models. The Affinity-X in #9 ans #10 are exceptional. I think the #9 is probably the best rod I have casted and fished. PM me your email and I will send pics. Regards, Herb Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
