need renzetti help

Just received my first Renzetti and could use some help. Are there any tutorials out there that might help me get all the features figured out? I could really use some info on how to correctly use the 8 spool thread feed, I've always wrapped from the front and I'm not really sure how to set it up to wrap from the rear. Also I can immediately tell that many of my thread spools wont fit this thing, any tips and tricks for using different size spools especially the larger ones?

Many thanks for all replies, any advice appreciated.

On the top and bottom of your thread carriage there are some black knobs that hold the threaded studs you can loosen those up and slide them back and forth to fit your spools but by doing this you most likely won't be able to load up all 8 places. Renzetti has kind of been lacking on the directions end of things.

Dont mean to hi jack this post, but anyone know where I can get the tension rod that pulls the thread down to take up the slack when you back the rod up?
Finishing up my own lathe and need something for this application. I'd like to make my own if any one has any good ideas.
Thanks,
Steven

I'm sorry for not answering the rest of your question but went looking to see what instructions I got from Renzetti to see if they would help you but could not find them so I'll try to explain how I have mine set up. On your thread carriage you should have two small threaded eyes with nuts on them they go about the middle of the thread holder then there is a larger a larger eye that is threaded into the top of the arm. Put your thread through the smaller eye and then go to to the bigger eye and that's all there is to it . I'm sure you wondering about the long thin wire with another eye out front I don't use that until after I have already started my wrap at least maybe ten revs. around the rod. That wire keeps tension on the thread in case you have to back up one or two revs. I hope this helps

I wrote an instruction manual for Renzetti a few years ago. I'll try to find it tomorrow and shoot you a copy.
