2010 Expo Accommodations

The Hotel High Point (formerly the Radisson Hotel) is now accepting room reservations for those seeking lodging for the 2010 International Custom Rod Building Exposition. Mention the Expo in order to get the special $84/night room rate. The special rate is available for Thursday (19th) Friday (20th) Saturday (21st) and Sunday (22) nights. The hotel phone number is 336-889-8888.

The Hotel High Point will also be the location for the annual RodMaker Reception which will be held on Friday evening.

It appears that the Hotel will also be the site for some sort of RodCrafter Dinner/Social gathering on Saturday evening. I'll add more details as I receive them.

There are other accommodations in the immediate downtown area. You can find several listed on the official event website at www.rodexpo.com.

The International Custom Rod Expo + The Rodmaker Magazine Reception + Rodcrafter Social = Mo' Better!

To continue adding more rod building related activities is a good thing for everyone involved. It makes the trip an even better value. There surely is nothing else like the Expo!

Tom,

I just tried to reserve two rooms for two nights and they are not available as of 11:30 this morning.

They are supposed to be in the system by now. I'll make a call and see if I can't get things straightened out. Thanks for letting me know.

I was told just moments ago that the block will show in their computer on Monday, so just give them a few more days and all should be well. This far out you won't have any trouble getting the rooms you want.
