is this the same as rod building thread? it is waxed (that's a bad thing for rod building but not fly tying, right?) found some on the most popular online @#$%& site (e-bey sp.) in some nice colors for a butt wrap i need. Search

Chris,
A person can use any product that they want when they construct objects.
It doesn't matter if you are building cars, house, or fishing rods.

Use products in the build that work for you. If you and your clients are satisfied with the results - enjoy the results.

If you and the clients are not satisfied with the results, you will be given the opportunity to do it again, with the possible bad press that such a decision entails.

p.s.
Many many years ago when I had my first business while still in high school in a small town - I would do any thing to prevent any bad press about my business. I found that one negative comment about my business erased about 100 positive comments about my business. So, be very careful in your business to generate only positive comments.
