Nice LED gooseneck light

Every once in a while the board gets a thread about shop lighting etc. so I figured guys who live near Woodcraft might be interested in this item. While I am not a fan of LED lights with the blueish tinge, I saw this little gooseneck 7 LED light at Woodcraft (29.95 strategically located at the register) when I went there to get some supplies. It comes with a magnetic base which can lift the end of a small lathe off the table without letting go and a clamp base for mounting the magnetic base on a table etc. The light beam is slightly focusable. I have used it for some small work on the lathe and today I just clamped a 5/8 inch L bracket onto the end of the rod wrapper uprights and let the magnetic base hold it on the bracket. Looks like it will work fine and does not take up a lot of room and interfere with working. This is a little light that I would like to have more than one of and pitch out all the lamps that I have tried to use for up close work that are clumsy and suck up a lot more power.

I'm sure it's a good unit.

Talk to Clyde Alho at the Rod Shop as well. He carries the excellent line of Zebra Lighting Systems.
