Hi guys
I am interested in hearing about what your experiences have been with this product. I am going to experiment with it but would really love to know how it is holding up for those who have been using it already Re: Lumiseal

Scott Parsons,
As per the post Tom referanced above: The question wasn't answered as to who sells it. I did a search on your site and the Fishstix site and it never came up. Mudhole doesn't list it. Sure would like to get hold of some of this. Thanks, Bill in WV Re: Lumiseal

If Scott can list the sizes he sells and price he can eliminate a lot of useless e-mails and calls Bill - willierods.com Re: Lumiseal

Tom,
Are you sure it isn't the same product. Just the same product in bulk? It sounds like it has the same characteristics. Thoughts? Roger Re: Lumiseal

Roger,
That I can't say - if the concrete sealer is solvent based urethane acrylic, it might well be. It was my understanding that the product Scott sells is not water based. The one you list plainly says it is a water based acrylic. Scott is the only one that can really say what it is, or isn't. .................. Re: Lumiseal

The Product is a 1 part solvent based urethane. I use it as a coating for blanks as well as thread wraps where you are looking for a thin coating. The down side to it is that it dries quickly and should be kept in a dry cool place. I keep mine in the refrig. Hope this helps. Have a great weekend. Thanks Scott and Karen Re: Lumiseal

Tom / Karen
Thanks for the update. Karen, you indicate that the product is solvent based. May I ask what solvent is used in the product? The reason that I ask this, is that in chemical terms, if you have the same solvent on hand - on which a product is based - it is the solvent that works best to clean and or thin the product. Thanks again for any updates. Roger Re: Lumiseal

Karen,
thanks much for the update. I wondered, if that weren't the solvent. I use Xylene all of the time in working with any of the 2-part epoxy products, for cleaning and material removal. Toxic, but effective. Also, very fast drying. Thanks again. Roger Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
