Do any of you have an idea of how to remove Sage Factory labeling from a blank? I avhve tried alcohol with no luck. I am afraid to try anything stronger that might harm the blank. Any suggestions.

Hope you don't need to return it for warantee. Was told by them once that their lable needs to be on it to validate warantee. Re: How to remove factory label

I don't' deal with warantees anyway. The price of the blank is not worth having their name on my rod.
Here is how I do things in that regard. I don't sell a rod until I have tested it and fish it to make sure it does what it is supposed to do. As has been pointed out here before, a factory defect will usually show up the first few times the rod is used. If the customer breaks it, the customer can buy another one or pay me for the repair. Nothing at all wrong with that approach. As long as everything is spelled out to the customer up front, both parties know what to expect if a breakage should occur.
