Hello All
Im a Newbie to this wonderful hobby. I have a friend that wants a fly rod built with a spinning handle. He wants the rear cork to be around four inches and total handle length 14" . I cant find anyone that has cork handles that short for the rear. I have never delt with glueing cork rings before. Any sugesstions? he wants this built on a 9' 2 piece 4 weight. i don't think i would have any problems builing a handle, (just that i haven't had the opportunity yet) Re: Cork Handles

Call Johnny at anglers roost, He has some spey grips with 4 inch rear grips, and the fore grip is easily modified to do what you want. Re: Cork Handles

There is nothing wrong with the sponsor links. Sponsors maintain their own websites.
Johnny at Angler's Roost can be reached at 716-565-9838. You can always use a 4 inch foregrip as a butt grip if you like. ............. Re: Cork Handles

There are a number of places that have what you are looking for. Look for a switch rod rear grip or a rear split grip. I know Mudhole has both and I'm sure others have them also.
Just a question. What is the purpose of that grip setup? It seems like it would throw the balance completely out of whack on a 9', 4wt. It would be more typical of a 11'+ switch rod or spey rod. Re: Cork Handles

I am having the same problem with Angler's Roost. I click on it and I get a message that the link is broken. All of the other sites that I checked were fine. Re: Cork Handles
