If I cover my threads with Permagloss then decide I do not like the appearance is there any reason I can not cover the Permagloss with Flexcoat high build or Thread Master to return to the "norm"?? THX Re: Permagloss with FC or TM coverage

You can safely overcoat PermaGloss with most any epoxy. However, you need to wait a full week before doing so in order to allow the PermaGloss to fully dry. If you apply the epoxy too soon you may trap some amount of solvent in the coating which will lead to problems.

I've gone both directions with epoxy over PG and PG over epoxy. As Tom mentions, the key it is allow the undercoat enough time to dry whether it's the PG or epoxy. Re: Permagloss with FC or TM coverage

Sort of. Epoxy doesn't dry - it cures by a reaction between the 2 component parts. There is no solvent in epoxy that needs to escape or evaporate. But PermaGloss contains a solvent that must completely leave the wraps before you can safely overcoat with epoxy.
