What color green thread will match/blend in with this nasty colored greenish blank.................I would use the std blk but I think it will jump out on that blank.

I've only done one since they changed colors. I just went with khaki EVA split grips, Pac Bay Dark TI with gold ring guides, Gudebrod olive green thread no CP, with black trim bands. Customer liked it better than his original idea.

Has anyone tried removing the finish from the new color blanks? Might be worth the time.

If you are talking about removing the green color, you can't. That's the color of the blank without the Orange on it that gives it that amber color.

Black. The new coating covers the entire blank - the old coating did not. I asked Seeker many times to coat the entire blank for the split grip - they finally have. I saw the new color at the show and liked it. That blank could be any color and it would be beautiful enough. There is no such thing as ugly when a blank performs like this one does.
