One Piece 8-9' 8wt Blank?

Hi everybody! I'm looking for a one piece fly blank, rated for an 8wt line between 7' 6" and 9'. Using the CCS data a few 7' blanks are available but nothing longer. G. Loomis has the Cross Current Pro-1 rod out, but no blank, "Rogue Rods" has a 7'9" 789wt blank available, but I would prefer to support our sponsors. If I've missed anything, please let me know!

-Scott

Look at some steelhead blanks, as fast an action as you can get, rated for lure weights 3/8 to 5/8 ounce. This won't be as good as the CCS, but not enough such blanks have been measured that way thus far.

Now it's going to be a little bit of a crap shoot because no 2 companies use the same lure weight ratings, but it will at least expand your search capabilities.

If you're wanting to fish out a little farther, lean towards a rating that is up closer or just beyond 5/8 ounce on the top end. If you're wanting to fish in very close, lean towards 3/8 to 1/2 as being the top of the rating.

Just curious, for my own education, why do you want a one piece 9' fly rod?

Sorry for the long delay.

Tom - Expedient as always, thank you!

-Spencer thanks. I did not realize they carried Rogue.

-Kerry a customer asked me about them. Said he has heard the big tarpon guys like one piece, no ferrules to separate and the rod is much "smoother". I tried to talk him out of it, but a local fly shop owner that sells the Loomis Pro-1 is telling him it's the bee's knees. Anyhoo, I do not want a 1 piece rod over 7' especially a fly rod. It becomes a when, not if I will break it.
