Did anyone take notes on what Rich recommended for rod/line with swimjigs?
UPDATE: Swim jigs - not swim baits. I'm throwing 1/4oz & 3/8oz swim jigs (OutKast, Brovarney), usually with a 4 or 5" grub trailer. A 5 power with 80# braid is a bit overkill. ;) Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 03/28/2009 06:04PM by Chuck Mills. Re: Rich's ICRBE Seminar

Pretty much if it is a moving bait he always recommends the Seeker BS706-S.
BTW the way to beat the language filter is to type it as BS706 not @#$%& 706 Re: Rich's ICRBE Seminar

I think you are correct - I think I remember him saying it was similar to a spinnerbait, which broke his basic rule of "single hook-graphite, treble hook-glass". I was replying to a text message at that moment in the seminar.
Thanks Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 03/27/2009 07:04PM by Chuck Mills. Re: Rich's ICRBE Seminar

For what it's worth, my ICRBE notes show an IMB 805 Shikari/ATC trimmed to 7'2"-7'4".... similar to frog rod, 50-80lb braid. Here's a link from yesteryear: [www.rodbuilding.org] Re: Rich's ICRBE Seminar
