Frayed Epoxy Question

I had some epoxy sitting around in the little mixer cup I used and removed it from the cup,. Upon flexing the epoxy it just snapped and snapped and did not have
much flexibility to it? Should this be of concern on the guides this was applied to? I don't have the rods, these were made for a friend and they are no where near by where I could check them.
Should I worry once he uses the rod the epoxy will crack when the rod flexes?

Thanks in advance

Not necessarily. The rod isn't likely to ever flex as much per inch as what you did in that cup. But, I'd watch my mix ratio next time out. Not sure what brand of epoxy you used, but generally the popular brands aren't all that brittle.

Tom:

Thanks for the heads up, I have always been using Flex Coat finish, not epoxy sorry my mistake... I have always measured 3cc's with the
syringes. Just being cautious after seeing that happen.

Thanks again.
