I will be traveling to Washington this summer and want to try jetty fishing. Most likely I will be using live bait. I am considering the Rainshadow SWS65MH. It is a little shorter than some of the others, but that makes it easier for traveling. But is a longer two piece rod better suited for jetty fishing? Re: washington jetty fishing

Jeremy, send me an eamil with some details and I'll give you what pointers I can. I live in WA near the coast and have fished the jetties quite a bit.

Hi Jeremy,
Interesting question, although I haven't fished this way in WA, I would have gone with the a 2pc. 10' surf blank(AXSU100M-2 or the 100H-2). 2pc. for travel and the length for extending out from the rocks while staying a safe distance from the water. Maybe Jeff can share some suggestions with us for futrue reference. Best Regards, Darrin Heim American Tackle Company Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
