Used it for the first time this week and was impressed with the results. Doesn't smell as bad as PG or at least I dont think so. Went on well . Three coats to a smooth finish on silk thread. Time will tell if I can get the cap off next time and be able to pour it. That will be the real test. Any one else used it and have a comment? Freddwhy (Rapt-Ryte) Re: Lumiseal

let us know how it goes. i am curious if the acrylic in it will get brittle over time. it sounds like an interesting option that may work well for guide and whole rod coating. Re: Lumiseal

Yup Scott sells it. He owns it. Not sure if it is on his site but I picked it up from his store a couple weeks ago. It is sold under Rod Dancer. Call Scott at Fishsticks and he'll tell you the skinny on the stuff Re: Lumiseal

I just used it for the first time a few days ago. I loved it. I used it as a thread finish on a repair job I did for a friend, and for kicks put it on his blank because it looked so bad. He was very satisfied with the finish. It was easy to work with, adn I did get mine from Scott Parsons also. Picked mine up at the Expo though.Only time will tell if its durable, but it is very easy to work with, and provides a great finish on thread and blanks Re: Lumiseal

Yes everyone LumiSeal is a new product in our RodDancer line up. Karen and I introduced it at the ICRBE. We have had great results. It is not up on our website yet because we are in the process of rebuilding it. Fell free to call us, or you can contact any of the suppliers that sell ThreadMaster, Chromaseal, or our cork and they can also get it to you. Thanks Scott and karen Re: Lumiseal

Bill, I would consider it to be right along the lines of being the same thing. A one part urethane rod and thread finish. Thanks Scott Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
