New Issue

The new issue of RodMaker leaves for the printer tomorrow. Once again we have some good stuff, including some methods and techniques that are completely new to the custom rod building craft. Because we are "custom" rod builders, anything we can do to open up new areas of creativity - to put us in greater control of the parts and pieces we use, is a great benefit to the craft and to what we can offer the fishing public. To that end, we have some stuff that will again allow you to rely less on commercially available handle and grip parts and allow you to make your own in a wide variety of colors, materials, configurations, etc. One particular technique is something I've been working on a good while and I think it will garner as much excitement as our earlier articles on flocking and foam core, carbon skin grips did.

It will mail on April 2nd and get to most folks around the 3rd or 4th week of April.
