Rainshadow® Surf Rod Blanks
Surf rod blanks are required to perform under some of the most difficult conditions the angling world has to offer. Think about it,
100 yard casts, big baits, big fish yet they have to be light enough to fish with all day. So if you love to chase schoolie blues, big
stripers or big drums, we have a model for you.
Features:
• Re-designed for better power transfer for even greater casting distance • Unique blend of RX7 graphite, RX6 graphite and e-glass
for unsurpassed strength and castability • New” Dura- Ferrule” ferrule reinforcement technology for 20% stronger ferrules • All two
piece models now feature blank sections that are equal in length for easier shipping and transporting from spot to spot • Limited
lifetime warranty • Matte Clear finish
Surf Rod Blanks Featuring RX7 Graphite And “Dura Ferrule Design

Karry has given you some very good information.

I would add that any standard type casting or spinning guide will work fine on most surf rods - all but the very heaviest type heavers or Uhla type rods.
