Hey all,
I'd like to find some white guides for my next build. I've been doing some searching but no luck thus far. I'm painting a Forecast RX7 IP840 crappie rod white and didn't want to use the black guides. I guess I could use a chrome or brushed metal type of color but first wanted to check on the availability of white guides. I remember seeing something about powder coating or painting guides but I'm not real sure how to go about popping out and resetting the rings. I'd welcome any ideas or resources you have. Thanks, Thanks, Chad Huderle Huderle Custom Rods Prior Lake, MN Re: White spinning guides

I don't know that I would pop out and re-seat rings - I think you may be in for a lot of trouble. On many guides the ceramic will break before the rings pop.
I might suggest this as a great application for the new Pac Bay Minima guides. The Minima 4's are available in a TiCh frame and ring, and I believe a chrome frame and ring as well. Re: White spinning guides

I'd suggest the same finish. TiCH frame and TiCH silver ring would look good on a white blank. No white guides available that I know of. Re: White spinning guides

i've seen a tutorial on powdercoating guides somewhere on the net but it was dealing with large turbo style guides. and while it seemed like a lot of work removing the rings and gluing them back in , the looks were striking. i would have to think that the small guides on a crappie rod would not lend themselves to this technique very well.
