Hi All,

This is a great thread. You have seen the real Billy! While reading the posts I thought of different responses I could make to most and Billy would have understood. But, the contents and spirit posted stand by itself.

Knowing Billy and the other NERBS just by being interested in doing these fine wraps will get you induction as a new member of NERBS. NERBS knows no boundaries. I am sure Billy will attest to that.

To Tyler, a budding rod builder/thread artist at 8 years old, you are most fortunate to have found a craft/hobby that gives you pleasure at such a young age. To be doing it with your father is the BEST! Good fortune to you. Now remember this, leave some fish for your father yto catch. Don't catch them all. Good job Dad!!!

Awesome show, Billy!

Thanks for taking the time, explaining and showing me some things. I am gonna rewrap that St. John's cross and definitely not cut it off this time!

...but, I would leave the jimmy hat at home next year...LOL!!! Still can't believe those guys didn't catch that one...

I have family in PA/NJ and hope to come to a gathering one day...

CAptain Neil,I'm glad you came down. THanks for the kind words, as always. Neil was one of the first guys to "get it" with me, seeing right through what I typed, and looking into my heart.

Sean, good luck on that re-re-rewrap. THat ws pretty funny, I'm glad there were some younger guys around for that one so they got it, as I thought it was pretty funny myself.

Billy it was so great visiting with you and the NERBS again this year. My brother Gary said, " Can you believe Billy remembered our names from a year ago" ?
Well,, thats Billy, the same every time you see him. He loves life and loves to live it. And when you are tall enough to become the rod building hero of a nine year old boy,,,,,well that's about as great a height as any man can reach.
I love this thread !

Great show billy and hope to see the NERBS again next year.
