Wife and I will drive up early Saturday morning. Staying at the hotel Saturday night and visiting again on Sunday This will be my first expo since the split from the fly fishing show in Charlotte a few years back. Very excited to finally be working on a project and shopping for next one, and the seminars too!

You will not believe how this thing has grown since I left the Fly Fishing Show. At a minimum it is a full 4 times larger now.

My wife and I are sitting in a hotel in High Point right now! I wasn't going to let the weather stop me. It may be tough to get home, but that's another problem. We had a house salad and the crab dip with toast at Liberty for lunch.
Edit: We drove from MN. I haven't seen any other Int. Rod Symbol decals yet..... Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 02/18/2009 03:17PM by Chuck Mills. Re: EXPO

Liberty is excellent. Now, about a mile away just behind the old Hollywood Video on Main Street, is Bimini's Oyster Bar and Cafe. Outstanding steamed seafood. You might try that tonight. If you leave the Radisson and head north on Main Street about 2 miles, you should see the old Hollywood Video store. Bimini's is directly behind it.

The weather here will be great from tomorrow on through Sunday and Monday. Unseasonably warm (upper 40's) and mostly clear. A few snow showers on Saturday night but they aren't expected to amount to anything.
I see where there are snow showers in the upper midwest today and tomorrow, but accumulation isn't expected to be more than about an inch most places. For the most part, it looks like travel on Thursday and Friday will be good Nationwide. ................ Re: EXPO

My travel plans were eliminated by an Environmental consulting firm from.....you got it, North Carlolina!! The engineer flew in last night and I'm drilling for him in the "Boston Blue" clay untill friday. An unwelcome economic stimulus package, I suppose.
Have a great time everyone, have fun, and spend all your money. (that's what I would've done) MJ NERB that types with a bar of Ivory soap in his mouth. Re: EXPO
