The NERBs in HP - what we got

We've got a good group of guys invading HP once again, to help promote "Rod Art" by answerring questions peoplemight have. We will have a lathe set up at teh booth, and will be doing the traditional 2 day DEcorative WRap so people can see how we do it. In addition, I will be doing an EVA grip seminar out in teh cafeteria on SAturday, which I plan to cover simple trim rings A to Z, making ellipticals, Herringbones, and finally - image inlays. At 3:00 we are going to have an informal Jigging session with several NC fishermen. THis is a great opportunity for fisherman and builders alike to learn something abotu the hottest trend in SW fishing - rods, reels, jigs, line - there should be a lot of info passed around.

We will also be selling the following items:
- The NERBs tee shirts, both long and short sleeves in a variety of colors.
- Fishhawk/Rice/The NERBs Thread grab bags - these were extremely popular last year as it gives you a chance to pick up a lot of thread at a very cheap price.
- DEcorative WRaps/Visual WRap combo packages
- Jim Upton's Weaving/Wisual Weave combos
- Kevin Knox's new DVD on installing Abalone - it's 1 hour long and chock full of tips.
- Abalone veneer, in 6 different colors
- GUSA FW blanks - 661, 663, 664, 701's - tehse are first quality blanks, which have no warantee since the company is no longer in business.
- I will have a pair of Seeker prototype blanks for North East Style jigging/baitfishing.

We will also have the rack of rods with typical NERBs style custom rods. Bring your cameras.

Billy,

Your demo will be "in the round" in the area just around the corner from your booth. Not in the cafeteria area.

Even better, as I was fighting with the slave driver running the booth to allow me to step away for an hour or 2, he'll be glad to know I wont' be far off.

Should be a fun demo, I'm probably going to bring my wood lathe and sand a grip or 2, should be nice and messy when I'm done.

Craig, I'm also looking foward to the jigging thing. Hopefully a few guys show up with rods & reels, I need some questions answerred about a few things. I think Kevin is making a jig with Abalone, which should be an interesting way to spice up teh jig and add a lot of natural opalescent flash while jigging.

Bill, thanks for putting me in that calss, but I'm not even close to that status yet. I'm working towards it, hopefully one day I will be there though. Make sure you stop by the booth and spend a couple of minutes, there's never a dull moment, and there are always a LOT of things to see at The NERBs booth. From FW rods with crazy cork inlayed grips, to Offshore Tuna rods, to 12' surf rods, we try to inspire everyone.
