They are still manufactured in Woodland, Washington, USA.
There is a strong possibility that Loomis blank availability to the custom builder will cease some time later this year. ...................... Re: Question blank G-Loomis

Shimano acquired part ownership back in the mid 1990's and total ownership a few years afterwards.

He already has and a lawsuit between G. Loomis, Inc. and Gary Loomis has been filed over the use of Gary's new company name.

Gary has a tough job before him in his lawsuit. Coca Cola bought Taylor Wine Company in the 1970's and when Walter S. Taylor, a former employee, started his own wine business and attempted to use his own name as a label for his own wines he was denied this right. Precedent, good or bad, is hard to fight.
