I recently built a split grip rod. Anyways, I used some cork pieces that had kind of a recessed area on the end that I am going to wrap over. I was told that you should use a coat of finish in the recessed area so it would make it easier to maneuver the thread around in. Anyways, I put a coat of Flex Coat Hi Build finish down about a week ago, and it is still sticky. It's completely dry, but it's still a little sticky to the touch. Is there anything I can do to get rid of the stickiness? ~Jon There is certainly something in angling that tends to produce a serenity of the mind Edited 2 time(s). Put down another thin coat over the top of it. Be very sure that your ratio of hardener to resin is spot on and mix the epoxy thouroughly. that will then set and take care of the problem. Re: Finish question

It sounds like too much hardner. Too much hardner and the stuff well never set up. Too much resin and the mix well set up to fast.
