Letter weaving

I have an Easy-Weave loom and now I need to learn how to use it. I want to start by learning how to weave letters. I would like to purchase either a printed reference or a DVD which will take me through the entire alphabet - step-by-step. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

The first place to start is Ray Adams Rod Builders Library (http://rodbuilding_tutorials.webs.com/). It has a whole section on weaving and one of the items he shows is letter weaving. Then if you continue to weave pick up on one of the weaving books available. I believe one is by Jim Upton that's supposed to be excellent. You can also pick up the Doc Ski DVD on weaving that will answer even more questions. Beware this can be adiciting.....

You can also get one of the Dale Clemon's books They have a special section on weaving letters using a 7 thread count. once you learn the basics you can design your own patterns. also the other recommendations are excellent suggestions. The sponsors to the left should be able to help you obtaining the needed material.
