mudhole has the blank but not in a kit including components. i know they make one, because i ordered it before from feather-craft.com but i've had such bad experiences with them in the past, i only want to use them as a last resort.

So If you know what you need , since you built this rod before, why not order each item and make your own kit???

Not being a smart aleck but Why order a kit?? You can build a MUCH better rod by deciding what components YOU want on your rod.

If I don't want to, I don't have to and nobody can make me (except my wife) cuz I'm RETIRED!!

If you have tried all the sponsors here and had no luck you should try contacting the manufacture. Ask them where you can purchase one through.

I believe that the kits are less expensive than sourcing the components out yourself is that the kits , many times, contain lesser quality materials than you might order yourself. Keep that in mind. The kits with the lesser quality stuff might not be bad stuff, mind you, but you would probably order better if you wat to for not a lot of money extra.
