Call a Batson distributor and order some SPG601 blanks. They are glass, super slow and very inexpensive. The glass makes them very tough, but don't worry that they are heavy - they aren't ... they are way too small to even feel the weight. They are 5'0" long, but you can whack them off it you really need them to be 4'0". Re: look for some 4ft, rod blanks
