I am looking for a two piece 7' blank for a crappie rod for a friend. Looking in the price range of less than $30.00. Does anyone know of one?
Thanks Bobby Re: Looking for a two piece 7' crappie blank

He is fishing from the bank and is making long casts with light weight jigs an a slip cork on it. He wanted a two piece rod so that he could fit it in his truck and needs it to be 7' so he can make the long casts. Re: Looking for a two piece 7' crappie blank

I like to use the SP721-2 Forcast blanks 6 foot 2 pcs. Found the 7 foot are to much trouble with brush were that I fish. I think you could get one,but do not know if they are 2 pcs. May be over your $30.00 limit. Have caught a 5 # bass while fishing for crappie as well as some 4 and 5 pound channel so I know the blank will hold up. Know they have a 6' 6" blank ISP781 blank and the ISP842 is 7 foot 2 pcs but may be heavier than you want for crappie and is over your $30.00 limit. Good luck in your search. Check with Schneider's Rod Shop on the left nice people to deal with and may have what you want.

The Forecast SP781-2, F763-2 or F764-2 would all probably work. Re: Looking for a two piece 7' crappie blank

Try this [www.versitex.com] 7 rods from the top, 2 pc. 7' 4-10lb test. It is 40.00 though sorry. Hope it helps, and I was just pointing out what I found, I am new to this art and that means that you should likely pick whatever the others suggest because they have many years of doing this and they have already made all of the mistakes that we don't have to if we just listen to them, I just thought you might like another option.
