Merry Christmas to one and all, have a quick question for ya guys. I have never flocked anything but am feeling I need to do it. Have any of you ever tried flocking the insert of a spinning seat?
Thanks and best wishes to you all. Tom Re: flocked spinning handle

Have not flocked an insert but it surely could be done. The only concern would be the thickness
of what ever covering one would want to put on an insert. To thick or heavy and you risk it not fitting correctly with the seat hardware or the reel not fitting in the seat. Plan on turning down the insert to a slightly smaller O.D. to compensate for the thickness of the covering. Raymond Adams Eventually, all things merge, and a river runs through it.. Raymond,
How do you think the flocking would be as far as comfort? Do you feel it would cause the hand to sweat or be uncomfortable in any sense? thanks Tom Re: flocked spinning handle

It would make the handle more comfortable. Flocked handles excel not only in cold weather, but hot weather too.
