Thread Color for Curado E7

I am going to be building two rods for a customer that is going to put the Curado E7 on them. I know they reel is Green silver and gold, so I am planning to use those colors, just looking for some suggestions on a good match for the green.

Thanks

That's a metal flake green in the sun. I'd go with a dark green. The gude metallic green is way too bright IMHO.

One thought might be to incorporate the silver and gold, then use a complimentary color with just a small bit of green accent to pull the rod and reel together.

You may have to look at maderia if you are wanting a super close match.

You may also want to try the gudebrod ht metallic # 9656. I think it may be a good match (dark metallic green)

Scott, I'd go with the M&M's favorite colors. Black Nylon with maybe a touch of Black NCP. :-)

Nothing wrong with black wraps, it's classic, simple and finishes out pretty decent.

I just did one with gudebrod green classic twist. Over a black blank with no CP it came out nice. Used a little metalic silver for some trim on the butt and ferrules.

Mr. Joyce, Now that's style man. You really brought it home with that one. I only wish I had thought of it first. SWEET!

Might look at the Sulky #7056 dark pine green metallic.
