I would love a comparison from anybody familiar with both. It will be for spinning rod chasing something like smallmouth. Re: Lami LSJ781 vs. Rainshadow ISB780

In the past I was a Lamiglas person when they first moved to Woodland, Wash. both in the fiberglass and graphite offerings and I built hundreds of their blanks into great fishin' stix's....but alas times are a-changing....along comes the Batson people offering so much help by professionals in every aspect of building any fishing rod you so desire. I still build the occasional Lamiglas and will do so until I am no longer able to wrap...but as I said "times are a-changing" and Lamiglas doe's not seem to offer what The Batsons offer nowdays....Bob Batson has handed the ball to his family and they are steadily scoring touchdowns. I have asked for and received guideance from Karry Batson either by phone or e-mail when ever I asked and am overly appreciative to him. I have to echo the Batson service. I am an occassional builder who generates very little volume for a complany like Batson, yet every time I have sought it I have gotten personal attention and help from the owners themselves. Re: Lami LSJ781 vs. Rainshadow ISB780

I agree: Batson service. I've talked to Karry while I was standing at my wrapper, and he talked me through a reel seat "issue".
