Is it just me or is our photo page turning into a manufacturers product showcase photo page??

Manufacturers are allowed to occasionally post photos of their new products on the photo page. All I ask is that they use it judiciously.

I enjoy all of the pics, including OUR SPONSORS. As in everything on this forum, it's a choice to click or not. I would enjoy seeing your pics too John.

I enjoy seeing pictures posted up, especially of new products, from sponsors. Appreciate them for what they are, and use them to get some new ideas....or don't click!

The photo section is a great resource when looking for something new to implement on one of your rods!

The photo page is wonderful IMHO, they give an uncreative guy some great starting ideas and a showcase for form and function.
Keep it up guys, if I can figure out how to post pics and take some that are worth posting I'll join in.

I agree that the photo's are great. and in all reality isn't that why/how this forum exists. No sponsors, no forum.

To be fair to John, that's right, but the photo page is for custom rods, not advertising.

I have always allowed the manufacturers to post a photo now and then of their new products, but again, ask that they use it judiciously when using it for that purpose. Otherwise there would be no custom rods posted - it would quickly turn into nothing but a product catalog.

If a company takes advantage of the privilege, I'll be the one to say something to them about it,
