modular cork handles

Some time past, I was buying some modular cork handles from Dale Clements tackle...they came in various lengths with optional black or brown plastic rings set in between each piece...seems there were two different links of corks...
I got away from rod making for a few years and lost contact and understand that Dale Clements tackle no longer exists....anyone familiar with the handles I'm referring to....would appreciate help in finding manufacturer and where to locate. Re: modular cork handles

I think Clemens put those together, although Lew's may have offered something like that, or those could even have been the Lew's kits. They're long gone now.
Mud Hole just recently introduced a totally new line of modular handles called "custom handle system." It could be along the lines of what you're after. .............. Re: modular cork handles
