Anyone ever tried engraving witha dremel tool on a blank itself???I know you would have to keep a constant depth but just curious if anyone has tried it and the results.

Thanks

Unless you have a very heavy walled blank and confined your engraving to the extreme butt, you would be destroying the blank.

Modern graphite blanks are made with very little margin for error - engraving into the surface of the blank is a recipe for disaster.

I would give it a shot on the reel seat or the handle.
