Increasingly more and more users here are choosing to overlook the rule about bad language. Sticking a few $$$ or some &*%$# in place of the actual letters doesn't cut it - if you use bad language or symbols that plainly allude to bad language, your post will be deleted. We no longer have time to edit them, so any posts including such language will be deleted.

Gentlemen, ladies and readers of the forum My name is Greg Weaver , and I would like to apoligize to the members and regular readers of the rodbuilding forum for the need for our website creator to have to reprimand a contributor for language oversights, for lack of a better word. I was, without a doubt the reason the post by Tom K initiated.a post to address this problem. I am a mechanic by trade and use crude talk is a regular part of my daily routine, and after seeing the use of what I guess would be considered computer language, I.E. LOL, (if that isn't the worst overuse of the computer age) , I'm sorry if I added a comment that wasn't conforming to the forum standards. It was supposed to be a comical response to the water soluble thread post. I am in no way mad about this, in fact want to thank our administrater for bringing this to my/our attention to keep this forum up to the standards it has achieved. I have learned so much about how to build fishing rods, I would never want to be expelled from this type of venture. I thank all of the contributors for your participation in your endeavor that helps to enrich the lives of the rest of us rodbulders. I still think a rod with the soluble thread would be like the exploding golf ball. God bless, and I hope all had a good T-giving holiday.Greg Weaver

Greg,

My post was the result of infractions by several people, not just one. So it wasn't aimed solely at you by any means.

I know it's easy to forget that there are many other people looking in and reading the various posts. But we have to try and remember that there are many and more than a few of them are young people and others who don't want to see that kind of thing.
