Hi guys -

quick question - where could I go and get some E-glass 7 -foot crankbait rod blanks? Or if need be same thing in a graphite blank? I might wnat to buy up to 25 blanks - action should be medium to medium heavy.

all thanks for any leads on a supplier

The E glass Lamiglas MB 841E is the blank used on the Skeeter Reese line. I use the S glass Seekers myself. The St Croix graphite blanks with the end designation MM or MHM are also nice.

Ron,
The Seeker E-glass 706 is the best I've tested over the years. I have 25 in the shop that I'll never build on - as I've stopped building for others with my current eye problems. Give me a call if you want all of them at a good price. Check my web site for phone number - revolverrod.com

The American Tackle Matrix crankbait blanks are really nice stuff. A little slower and softer, but way lighter and more sensitive than glass. I don't think you would be disappointed.

Ron....Richard is right on the Seeker 706....it was perfect for crankbait ....I doubt if Rich checked out the Forecast line of "E" Glass and if you aren't interested in the Seekers check out the Forecast SPG842 [1/8-1/2] , SPG843 [1/8 - 5/8] or SPG844 [1/8-3/4] and prices are very good....
but if Rich is no longer producing his sticks I bet you will not be able to beat his price and as far as throwing the crankbaits you will have a hard time not selecting Glass over Graphite for cost.

I am VERY familiar with the sp 842 /843 /844 blanks for the last 30 years - made a many of them myself. Good recommendation - will check out the seeker blanks and maybe try and do a mix on both - hate let anything that good in both areas slip by anymore, aint getting any younger !

thanks so much gentlemen!

I'll third the Seeker @#$%&-706 for what your looking for. They also make or made an "Extreme" version in S-glass that I use for Walleye and bass.
