6ft 2Wt Blank

My buddy fishes the smokies and would like to hike into some smaller streams for brookies and was wondering if anybody knew a company that makes a 6Ft 2Wt in 3 or more pieces.

Thanks

It's not 3pc and it's 6.5' but one of my favorite builds for small SE/Appl mtn fishing is the Batson IF662 (RX7). They make this blank in RX6 in a 4pc. I've never built on it (for a personal rod I'm sure I'd lose a piece) but the other RX6 blanks I used have been quality blanks and built into very good rods.

matt... as far as batson's site, they don't offer a 6 foot blank in RX6. did you mean 6'-6"?

sevier offers a tiger eye 6 foot 2/3 wt blank but it's a 2 piece. i think the RX6 6'-6" 2 wt 4 piece would work great f he didn't mind an extra 6 inches.

dan craft has his Signature III in a 6'-1" 3 pc for 0 wt line which could be very interesting. he also has a 6'-6" 4 piece 3wt in the FTL series. i had the 8 foot 6 piece for 3 wt line blank and it was superb for small and medium sized sierra stream trout.

It runs in my mind that Sevier may have come out with a 4-piece 6' blank, but it's just not been updated on the website.
I have built two of the 2-piece rods and they are very sweet and the price point is excellent. Plus, it is hard to go wrong with the translucent brown color.

I would give Dave a call and ask.

Don't forget that spin blanks will work also. UL

We now have two 4-piece fly rod blanks in 2WT...one is 6'0" and the other is 6'6". These are the latest Tiger Eye additions and they are very nice blanks. I have built a couple of them myself as well as selling quite a few and they make very nice pack rods.

These are not on my web site yet, but give me a call and I'll fix you up.
