The sponsor link to Phenix rods is now active. I should have activated it last week but overlooked it. Apologies to Phenix.

They are now offering their own line of rod blanks.

Hi Everybody,

Thank you for the warm welcome Tom! We are excited to be a sponsor on Rodbuilding.org. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions. I know that our website is still very much a work-in-progress but you will be seeing a better and newer website within the next couple of months. Our blanks are being offered at a few reputable tackle shops. You can see our list of dealers on our website.

Welcome! I have been eyeing a 6'6' 20-60# for a while now since I saw some lift pics! Impressive!

Robert, I read some of the description and it sound like the blank is all high modulous graphite, is that true? If so how do you get that much flexibility from Hi Mod or are some of them low mod? I honestly see any other high mod blank in that category snapping like a pencil so that is awesome!! Are they very stiff?
