My Mistake

A week ago I ordered a St Croix blank and several spools of thread from them using Visa. The card is good. I have never received an order confirmation email nor has my email to them asking about the order been answered.

You might want to call Bob on the phone!! Nobody here can tell you about your order. The best way to find out anything is a voice to voice phone call. For some strange reason, for the past week, we've had e-mails that are not reaching folks and the messages are not returning to us. If you have tried to reach us and did not recieve a return message, we apologize, as this is really a weird deal. It is not occuring with all messages. We've had several folks call about this situation and are trying to resolve this issue. The really bad probelm is that it indicates messages are being sent thru and not returning to us, so we do not really know who is receiving messages or not? If you have sent us a e-mail recently and did not receive a reply, you may want to call me us at 931-684-6164.

Custom Tackle Communication Problems:
About six months ago this identical situation existed between Custom Tackle and my IP address. After a week of frustration we finally discovered that MY Internet Provider had installed a block of all communication with the Internet Provider that serves Bob McKamey and Custom Tackle. Bob will have to notify his internet provider that he is sending messages to an email address that is being blocked by another internet provider. His provider can contact the senders provider and ask them to remove the block. Anyone doing ebusiness with Bob that is having trouble should immediately contact him and give him email addresses to he can get internet provider to remove all blocks. The sender can contact their internet provider and request removal of the block placed on Bobs' internet provider. When this happened to me I did not know that my internet provider could decide who they wanted me to communicate with! Not only are they watching us but they can decide who we deal with as well! Bummer - This can hurt Bob if anyone thinks he has control over the cause! Bob I told you I would find it!! Ain't too many competitors I would work this hard for! Thanks for posting that. I had a conversation with Bob about this earlier today. Spent a little time with Comcast customer service to find out the same thing, they block united.net (Bob's provider). I sent bob the link to the unblock request for Comcast. Bob will take care of this stuff, he is a stand up guy. I always deal with Bob at Custom Tackle Supply by phone and have Never had a problem. If at first you don't succeed, go fishing, then try, try again. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
