Long time rod builder and expert thread artist Wayne Fowlkes from Virginia Beach has been featured in the Summer 2008 issue of "Fishing Guide," a publication of the Hampton Roads, VA tourists operation.

The article is very well done and profiles one of the best known rod builders in the U.S. Many of the popular thread patterns that we've come to accept as standards were created by Wayne several decades ago.
