Batson Forecast Flyrod Blank

Hi,
I have a couple of Forecast F763-2 flyrod blanks that I'm trying to put together for my wife and I. I went to Batson's website and it appears they are redesigning it. Looks pretty cool so far...BUT I need guide size and spacing info and that part of the website isn't up yet. If anybody can chime in and give me that info, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Dave

Dave:

Here's the spacing chart that I use, but keep in mind every blank is a little bit different, so this will give you the starting point. Static testing from here will put them right on. From the tip-top - 4.5, 9.5, 15.5, 22.5, 30.5, 39.5, 49.5, and 61.5. The guide sizes are - 4 # 1's, 3 #'2 and either a #8 or #12 stripping guide, your choice on the stripper.

I use a spacing pretty close to Harold's but I use much smaller guides on a 3 wt. I'd use a 10 stripper, than a 3, a 1 and than 2/0 to the small loop tip. Sage uses 2/0 and I haven't heard any one complain yet.

Dave,

This is Batson's recommendation for guide size and spacing on that model:
F763-2 Dark Blue Gloss 7'6" 2
4.5"---9.5"---15.5"---22.5"--30.5"--39.5"-49.5"--61.5"
3 (sf)-3 (sf)- 3 (sf)---3 (sf)--4 (sf-)-4 (sf)-4 (sf)-12 (ud)
Hope this helps!
Lynn
