hey guys

trying to decide on a color for my tiger wrap im doing at the moment

the blank is blue and i want to compliment it but still make a contrast, im a bit out there in my rods very bright etc so something that will make people look.

as i said blank is blue and the guide wraps will contain cobolt blue in there somewhere.

thanks

dont say any greens as green will be on my next rod

blue and green should not be seen without another colour inbetween
(but hey I`m superstitious i wont have green on a boat AT ALL i wont wear green when fishing and I have never caught anything on a rod with green on it)
so i wouldnt say green

RED
GOLD
SILVER
YELLOW
ORANGE (yes orange)
lilac / light purple
pink
Any fluresent / neon colour (maderia or mettler polysheen do some really hot ones)

if you do a google search for a colour wheel then pick any of the colours OPPOSITE blue
The late cliff hall was brilliant at sorting me out but unfortunatly I dont know what he used he would never tell me apart from a colour wheel

For a very strong effect, make sure the 2 colors on the bottom are in stark contrast to each other - black and white or black and yellow provide the greatest degree of contrast. The top color will dictate the overall color of the wrap, of course.

If you use 2 dark colors on the bottom, the effect will be more subtle. Use 2 light colors on bottom and you'll have the same. One very dark and one very light color on the bottom will produce the greatest and most striking effect. Just depends on what you're after.
