Has anyone ever incorporated block or glued-up plastic or acrylic into a handle? Any cautions, tips, sources or tutorials? Especially sources for small quantities! Thanks Re: acrylic handle trim

I do it quite often. No special tricks that I'm aware of. Here are a couple sources for acrylic sheets in various colors that can be cut into rings with a hole saw. You can get about 50 1 1/4" rings from a 12" x 12" sheet using a 1 1/2" hole saw. [www.delviesplastics.com]
[www.usplastic.com] Scuff the sheets first for a water break free surface ( I just use an electric hand sander and sand the sheets on both sides when I get them. Use Ultimate Gel or Rod Bond to glue them up between cork and/or wood. Mike (Southgate, MI) If I don't want to, I don't have to and nobody can make me (except my wife) cuz I'm RETIRED!!
