I have Billy Vivona's "Decorative Wraps" book, and Clemen's "Custom Rod thread Art" book and I can't find the "Scales" butt wrap instructions. I am experienced, but instead of figuring it out, I'd like the easy way out, instructions. I think I know how to do it without droping a thread each time (that's my guess on how to get the curve of the scale), but a little help would speed things up. Thanks for any help, Kyle
8 axis, right? Re: Trying to find "Scales" buttwrap instructions

Most scale patterns are just simple chevrons done on
6 or 8 axis. Another version of scales is split diamonds with a +1 on one side adding not droping a thread on each pass done on 4 axis. Follow? Raymond Adams Eventually, all things merge, and a river runs through it.. Re: Trying to find "Scales" buttwrap instructions
