Thread options for illusion guide

I have a matte blank blank (6'2" bass balnk), fuji (spinning) soft touch reel seat (matte black w/silver trim ring) and a set of American Tackle Illusion frame spinning guides with gold zirconium rings. Black epoxy ramps on each end of the seat and a 2" Copano cork butt wth a black EVA cap.

Anyone have a thread color ideas to go with those Illusion frames? .....I thought about a plain silver metallic wrap?..... black would work, but there's enough black there already I think.....

The reel will be a Quantium with that same illusion color frame.....

do you want to show off the guides and reel seat then go with a plain wrap. other wise dress up the wraps too.

Personally, I'd go with black and let the guides speak for themselves.

Or instead of a plain silver metallic, go with gold metallic to match the ring.

These really can be tough to match up nicely. I did a burgundy/pearl wrap with black frames/holographic rings and the darker burgundy really brought out the holo.

Go way out on a limb and use white silk. When wet out, it goes completely translucent ... then your frames will be visible 100%.

If you want to match it all up use Burgundy Madeira main wrap with Silver Metallic trim band and put a 3 wrap inlay up on the guide foot with Gold Metallic. I did one similar and it was stunning.

I did a black blank with AMTAK all holo frames with purple main and holo trim and the reel was a Quantum holo. The purple main picked up the purple hues in the reel seat and guides and the holo trim was a nice compliment.
