All Star Factory Rod Guide Type and Thread Color

I have an All Star "Classic" IM-6 casting rod. The ring on one of the single foot guides has popped out, and so I need to replace the guide. The guide is black frame with a silverish ring/insert.

Would any ony know what manufacturer or guide type was used by All Star or have a recommendation of a comparable guide? A Fuji Alconite is higher that this guide. I have built all my rods with Fuji Alconites, and do not have any experience or knowledge of other guides.

Also, any help with matching the thread color would be appreciated. The thread is red with silver trim bands. The closest I can come with matching it with what I have is Gudebrod "Garnet".

Thanks in advance!

Without looking at the guide itself it would be difficult to say which guide it could be as All Star has used all of the main players of guide companies such as Fuji, AMTAC ,CUI and several others. As for the color of thread it is candy apple red with no CP.

Hope this helps-

I would say since you have to take off the guide check the frame for markings!
