Hi folks,
I think every blank series has one or maybe two real burners and I want to know which one(s) we talk about in this series. So which one is the best/most succesful Tiger Eye blank? Maybe there are some out who have built already different ones and really can give an experienced statement. Awaiting the news. Rgds, Ole Re: Which one is the most succesful Tiger Eye blank ?

The Tiger Eye blanks over 8 ft don't see much use that I've noticed due to their big butt dia. I imagine.
My favorites are the 6 ft 2/3 and 3/4, 7 ft 6 in 3/4 4piece and the 8 ft 3/4 4 piece. Re: Which one is the most succesful Tiger Eye blank ?

Hi Ole,
I have built a number of fly rods using Tiger Eye blanks and have found no problems with them at all. Hank On The Rocks Fishing Wells, ME. Re: Which one is the most succesful Tiger Eye blank ?

Any of the medium to short light line models are quite nice. The longer and heavier weight models are also nice, but weigh a bit more than you might be accustomed to. Of course, this is true in any of the "value" lines of rod blanks, not just the Tiger Eye.
