I just recently purchased an ALPS MD1000 printer with hopes of printing my own decals using the metallic inks. Only problem is I don't have a clue on how to use this printer and it didn't really come with any real type of manual. I assume that to create a decal that will be applied over a dark blank that I will need to print in layers starting with white. Do I need to purchase any type of special graphic software? Anyone famaliar with this printer I would greatly appreciate your help. If you would be so kind and send me an email with some type of tutorial or let me know how to find what I'am looking for.
Thank you sooooo much Jeff Leonard Re: ALPS Printer

The metallics can be printed by themselves and show over any colored background, including black. Only the standard, non-metallic colors need be printed over a white printing first (in the "overlay" mode). Putter Williston, ND Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
