They seem to be such a good blank.
Would anyone like to postulate as to who makes the Mudhole colored Custom Builder Rod blanks?
You can private email me if you wish
Thanks

It'd be hard to say - it'd just be "postulating" and nothing more. Could be Lamiglas, or American Tackle, or somebody else. Most important is whether or not it works well for your specific task.

It does not matter who makes the blank. MH had the blank designed just for them. Why not just ask MH.
Who built their rod. Why speculate and start rumors.

Scott are you saying, children smoking in off shore countries are making the blanks while smoking. Just like the shoe companies in India?

Bob, I am sure Robert would have asked MH already and they would have given "the we don't devulge our suppliers", anyway.
It is a good question actually, specially for us Australians, with our free trade agreement with the US any thing made in the USA does not acquire duty when imported, same in reverse. Don't see a rumour in asking or a Rodbuilder giving their veiw.
For us it is an important question, we have been dealing with China and India for a lot longer than the US, you guys still have home land industry, we sold out to Asia 25-30 years ago.

Hey Robert, you spelt "Colour" wrong.

Myles
Thanks for the comments - I agree whole-heartedly (except for the spell correction).
No I didn't spell "color" wrong - the website is published in the USA - (audience analysis).
I can't help if they donn't spel co-rectally (no offense intended at all, please take it in good humour or is that humor (lol).

Myles you made a excellent point (on suppliers). Over here (US) what some supplies well do, is tell you if it is a off shore built blank or a States Side built blank. Some of our State side rod manufactures have certain blanks made off shore. As for spelling. leave Robert alone I am known as the worst speller here. and if any one complains. My next post would give a Cryptographer a head throb LOL::)

Hi Robert
I am pretty sure they are made in Asia by the same manufacturer that makes some Amtaks blanks so they will attract Duties. I think that they come from one of the 2 large blank manufacturers that make 90% of the blanks shipped out of Asia.
